Lebanon lost there entire backfield and the Helburt/Lee combo was tough to get ready for......The guy that backed up Lee last season IMHO was a better passer and if the Lebanon coaches can balance there Offence to the point that folks can't put 8 in the box and stop the run then they may be able to overcome the downgrade in the running game.
Lebanon was my fav to win the CMD but GC beating Richlands has me reconsidering that pick now it could be that Richlands was overhyped in the preseason but until the next few weeks show something differant I think GC may be the team to beat in the CMD
Pre season I would have picked Lebanon over PV by 14 but Lebanons poor showing in the Jamboree vs Burton and Wise is my biggist reason for the 21 point swing
Last I checked this was the LPD Report Sports Message Board, not the Region D one.
That one was too easy.
All that being said, I agree with Lung. The only kid that I was impressed by last year at all on Lebanon's squad was Helbert. If Lebanon's still running the spread, that can give them an advantage over a lot of teams in the area. But when they run up against a D with a solid safety and active LB's in coverage, life will be tough. There's a few of those team around here, IMO. I don't think PV's one of them, but we'll see.
That game will be interesting for sure.
